About Plug Type I

Used in: Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Argentina. The Type I plug has two flat pins in a V-shape as well as a grounding pin. A version of the plug, which only has the two flat pins, exists as well. Australia’s standard plug/socket system is rated 10 amps but a plug/socket configuration rated 15 amps also exists, although the ground pin is wider. A standard 10 amp plug will fit into a 15 amp socket but not the other way around.

    Nice, small plug. Can be stacked next to eachother in a power board. I flashed Tasmota OTA, no need to crack it open.

    the shipping cost was far more than the original purchase price, and as the buyer was only able to request a refund for the original purchase price.

    this would have meant being out of pocket by 200% if the all the incorrect product was returned with no goods that I had paid for.

    this was a repeat purchase as the product it's self is great and I wanted an additional one for an aquarium

    in the end I opened a dispute with AliExpress and a full refund was granted

    Delivery recieved very very quickly I was expecting a long delivery time however arrived in about 8 days, also helped that products were dispatched from reseller very quickly.

    Displays as 3 seperate objects in Google home, Light, Switch and then the socket? Switch and socket do the same thing, also adding via Wifi socket using the Smart things app work and seller didnt reply to me after asking how to proceed. Ended up using the AP mode as instructions are very clearly generalised for all Smart life/Tuya products

    a great addition to the smart system, we use this to run a LED pool light, it's great as we can simply set the timer and walk away, and when we want to use it, just hit the app Tuya and start the light, or press the inbuilt button on the side and away it goes..


    it has features that we don't use, like the ability to change the colour of the light on the plug but we can't see the light due to its location

    but it's a great feature to have
