Samsung’s upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series flagship tablet series has once again become the focus of attention recently. The leak of promotional images has brought attention to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra tablets. Latest reports from Switzerland reveal their estimated prices. The price of the new tablet is expected to rise by approximately 150 Swiss francs (about RMB 1,259) compared to the previous generation.
For context, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ (Wi-Fi version, 256GB) was launched in July 2023 with a price of 1,029 Swiss francs (around 8,635 yuan). Its successor’s price is expected to increase by 120 Swiss francs. Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra (Wi-Fi version, 256GB) was priced at 1,229 Swiss francs (approximately 10,313 yuan). The new S10 Ultra is expected to see a price rise of 170 Swiss francs.
In addition to the price increase, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series has chosen to abandon Qualcomm chips for the first time. Instead, it will use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 series chips. This change has garnered attention, as it marks the first time a Samsung tablet uses a Dimensity flagship chip. Previous test results show that the performance of the Dimensity 9300+ chip is equivalent to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, with both chips offering similar performance.
Samsung’s choice of Dimensity chips for high-end tablets may be part of its strategy to balance cost and performance. While Snapdragon chips have traditionally been used in Samsung’s flagship devices, the performance improvements of the Dimensity 9300 series make it an attractive option. The Dimensity 9300+ chip improves multi-core processing capabilities and optimizes power consumption and graphics performance. This could be the key factor behind Samsung’s decision to make the switch.

For consumers, the price of the new Galaxy Tab S10 series has increased. However, its improved configuration may make up for the gap. The new tablet will feature the Dimensity 9300+ chip. Additionally, it is expected to be fully upgraded in terms of display, camera, and battery life. These upgrades aim to further enhance the user experience.
It’s worth noting that while Swiss prices revealed rough increases, the specific global pricing strategy remains to be confirmed. In addition, it seems still undetermined whether Samsung will launch different configuration versions for different markets. As the launch event approaches, more details about the new tablet are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
