TrendForce’s latest survey shows that Nvidia has recently renamed all its Blackwell Ultra products to the B300 series, and it is expected to strategically launch CoWoS-L-based GPU products such as B300 and GB300 next year. The B300 series products were originally planned to be shipped between the second and third quarters of 2025, and the B200 and GB200 are expected to be shipped between the fourth quarter of 2024 and the first quarter of 2025.
TrendForce observes Nvidia’s high-end GPU shipments and recent product strategy and will focus more on AI models with higher revenue contributions in 2025. From the perspective of shipment proportion, Nvidia’s high-end GPU products have grown significantly. The overall shipment proportion in 2024 is expected to be about 50%, with an annual growth rate of more than 20 percentage points. In 2025, driven by Blackwell’s new platform, its high-end GPU shipments will account for more than 65%.
TrendForce analyzes that Nvidia is the main demander for CoWoS. It is expected that with the increased volume of the Blackwell series in 2025, the demand for CoWoS will increase by more than 10 percentage points annually. In addition, NVIDIA’s procurement scale for HBM will also continue to expand. It is estimated that its consumption of the overall HBM market will exceed 70% in 2025, with an annual increase of more than 10 percentage points.
TrendForce also speculates that the B300 series will be equipped with HBM3e 12hi, and the mass production time of this HBM product will fall between the fourth quarter of 2024 and the first quarter of 2025.
