Redmi Pad's new product is expected to be released in April and its appearance design is revealed to support stylus

On March 8, Tinydeal learned from foreign media that Redmi will launch a new tablet. This stylus-compatible tablet, however, will first be launched in the Japanese market, with other markets still unknown. Additionally, the new Redmi Pad, confirmed as “24042KBD5G,” has passed certifications such as NRRA and IMDA. According to foreign media, based on the top four models, it is likely that the new tablet will be released in April. Therefore, the question remains: Will this tablet be the Redmi Pad 2?

In terms of appearance, in some certification information, we found a design drawing on the back of the new Redmi Pad. The design of the lens module seems to be pill-shaped, completely different from the existing products. Currently, Redmi has launched two tablets, Redmi Pad and Redmi Pad SE in the domestic market, and their camera modules are both common rectangular.

Foreign media reported that a stylus compatible with Redmi Pad new tablet recently passed FCC certification. It also received the technical qualification mark from Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. Therefore, it’s certain that the new Redmi tablet “24042KBD5G” and its stylus will be released in Japan.

Redmi does not have many tablet products. It released the Redmi Pad in 2022 and the Redmi Pad SE in 2023. In addition to the domestic market, the two products are also sold in Japanese and other markets. From the perspective of time nodes, the new product may be the iterative product of the Redmi Pad.
