Recently, Tinydeal learned from foreign media that the 4G and WiFi versions of the Redmi Pad SE 8.7-inch tablet have passed certification by the United Arab Emirates Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TDRA). Previously, the WiFi version was unveiled by certification bodies such as FCC, IMDA, and EEC. Meanwhile, the 4G version has been spotted on platforms like IMEI, IMDA, and EEC.
According to TDRA certification information, the model number of the 4G version of the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is “24076RP19G”. The WiFi version is marked as “24075RP89G”. This division confirms previous speculations about the two models. It also reveals their respective features. The 4G version supports mobile network connections, providing users with a convenient network experience without WiFi. On the other hand, the WiFi version focuses on wireless LAN connections, making it ideal for home or office use.
It is reported that the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 series tablets will offer at least 64GB of storage. Additionally, these tablets will come pre-installed with Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0, based on Android 14. The WiFi version is expected to support WiFi 5 technology.
The Indian version of the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G has appeared in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification database. Its model number is “24076RP19I.” However, the WiFi version has not been certified by the Indian BIS yet. This could be due to differences in market strategies and sales plans.
The starting number “2407” in the model number suggests that the Redmi Pad SE tablet 8.7 tablet might be released in July or August. However, the exact release date is still pending an official announcement from Xiaomi.
