[Tinydeals Technology News] On February 21, Tinydeals noticed that Huawei Terminal BG CT Li Xiaolong posted a message saying: Philippine pollen Domcar earned recognition from Philippine President Marcos yesterday afternoon. He won the title of “Photographer of the Year” in the 2023 Huawei Imaging Competition (XMAGE Awards). The National Culture and Arts Commission of the Office of the President of the Philippines presented him with the Ani ng Dangal Award. This award recognizes Filipino artists who achieve success in international art competitions.
According to Huawei’s official website, the 2023 Huawei Image Competition began on April 7, 2023, while the submission deadline was August 15, 2023. Moreover, it serves as an open platform for Huawei mobile phone users to showcase their images. The competition not only encourages creators to share experiences through their preferred styles but also inspires bursts of creativity. Since 2017, Huawei has consistently hosted annual image competitions worldwide. These contests aim to explore new ways of visual expression. By 2022, nearly 4 million submissions had been received from over 170 countries and regions. Consequently, Huawei has accumulated a vast collection of cultural image assets.
The 2023 Huawei Imaging Competition has 9 categories, namely:
- Good pictures are never too late——From the moment night falls, go look for the faint light in the night.
- Portrait——Use photos taken by others or by yourself to portray the character’s emotions.
- Art and Fashion——Fashion is the ultimate form of self-expression, capture the fashion moments that inspire you.
- Travel——Shoot farther, shoot in faraway places. Go and record the beautiful scenery that your heart desires.
- Hello Life——The ordinary moments in daily life become extraordinary under your lens.
- Photo Story——3-9 photos are combined into a story, told from multiple perspectives.
- Start shooting——Whether your heart beats faster or your blood boils, record a 30-second highlight.
- Mobile Movies (short films under 5 minutes, feature films 5-30 minutes)——There are always characters that are either lovable or terrifying, and it’s all up to you to create.
- Student Special Attention Award——For Chinese students aged 18-24
