Samsung is set to expand its market share to 31% this year, securing the top spot. This growth results from its strong performance in 49-inch OLED display shipments and ongoing product innovation. Meanwhile, LGE, with its ample panel resources, is actively developing new products and cultivating this product line. As a result, LGE is set to rank second in OLED display shipments, capturing a market share of 19%.
TrendForce reports that ASUS is continuing to deploy high-end products and plans to increase OLED display shipments in 2024. It expects ASUS to surpass Dell by a small margin, securing third place in the market. MSI, which has expanded its channels this year, has seen significant growth in monitor shipments. This has made it the brand with the highest overall monitor growth. MSI’s OLED display shipments have also experienced the largest annual growth, and its market share is expected to rise to 11%, placing it in fifth. GIGABYTE is also launching new OLED models this year, aiming to rank sixth in market share.
TrendForce also highlights that Samsung Display’s expansion of shipments and the efforts of other brands are driving the growth of QD-OLED. It expects QD-OLED shipments to increase from 53.5% in 2023 to 73% in 2024.
